Wallow fire

My brother's cabin had the fire pass 8 feet from it but my parent's cabin (pictures below) is being encircled by the Wallow fire as we speak. It is likely it will burn tomorrow (Saturday) if the winds are bad like they are predicted to be.

If you can remember -- please pray for us, for the firefighters (some of which have been camping in the meadow in front of my parent's cabin) and the other homeowners around our cabin and in the area.

The last picture is the closest view. Last Christmas's Joe and I sat on the porch and called to bull elk with my dad's elk call; one of the elk came right in to the meadow in front of my paren't cabin. My dad said that there are photos of elk at Big Lake that couldn't escape in time and were burned alive..... Just for all of you who don't know, yes the winds are aiding in this fire being much worse, but so are the EPA laws for "wilderness areas". When the fire was 2-3 acres big, there was a large tanker present at the site of the fire---- but the fire crew wasn't allowed to drive onto the land nor put the fire out because it was burning in a "protected wilderness area"....... and now with the wind blowing out of control-- 408,881 acres and 35 homes have been destroyed and more tomorrow. I just hope that the "slurry plane" which drops 'slurry' up to a mile wide will FINALLY be used tomorrow because it would save alot of homes, forest and animal wildlife.

Our property is up there too and I'm praying nothing is damaged.

I hope nothing more is destroyed and the fire is taken out quickly!
